Overview

Integuru provides production-ready HTTP API access to ADP. The actions listed on this page are currently supported by Integuru.

The 20 actions authenticate against ADP Accountant Connect, the portal ADP gives accounting firms for their clients' payroll data. They return the payroll register, tax filings, general ledger, 401(k), workers' compensation and year-end statement reports for each client company, plus the report generation and status calls that produce them. Every call uses your own Accountant Connect login; Integuru holds the session and re-authenticates when it expires.

Does ADP have a public API?

Yes, with a gate. ADP publishes REST APIs through the ADP Marketplace, authenticated with OAuth 2.0, but production credentials require the Marketplace certification program: a partner agreement, a use-case review by ADP's partner team and credential issuance at ADP's discretion, typically several months with no published timeline. Integuru's ADP actions instead authenticate against ADP Accountant Connect with your own login.

What is live. The verified actions are accountant-side. adp_list_clients and adp_client_activity enumerate the client companies your firm can see. adp_payroll_register, adp_payroll_liabilities, adp_period_totals, adp_tax_filings, adp_local_taxes, adp_general_ledger, adp_job_costing, adp_retirement_401k, adp_workers_compensation, adp_aca_coverage, adp_paid_time_off and adp_year_end_statements each return one report family for a client and period. adp_list_report_types, adp_generate_report, adp_report_status, adp_fetch_report and adp_recent_reports drive ADP's asynchronous report queue: request a report, poll its status, download the result. adp_alerts returns the missed-payroll and liability notices the dashboard shows.

What is not live. An employee roster, individual employee detail, time and attendance entries and per-employee time-off balances are not in the verified catalog and are not reachable through Accountant Connect. If you need them, the Managed Service scopes and builds them against an ADP account your team controls, and they appear on this page only once they are verified against live traffic.

Who this fits. Accounting firms and finance automation tools that reconcile payroll expense to the general ledger, check tax deposits and filings, or pull year-end statements across many client companies. A payroll-cycle sync for a single employer's HRIS is a different shape of integration; ask the Managed Service.

Setup Notes

Configure ADP credentials in Integuru once. Integuru manages authentication and session handling for subsequent API calls.

The login is an ADP Accountant Connect account, and the actions see the client companies that account is authorized for. Report actions are asynchronous on ADP's side: call adp_generate_report, poll adp_report_status, then adp_fetch_report. Use adp_list_report_types to find the report identifiers a client supports before generating.
