Does Alignment Health have a public API?

Alignment Health's AVA provider portal, where contracted offices verify member eligibility and check claims, has no API of its own, and access to AVA is granted by an office administrator rather than a developer sign-up. Alignment runs a separate ADAS developer portal, but its API catalog is not published. Verify a member

• check_eligibility takes a required birth_date (MM/DD/YYYY) and either a member_id or a first_name plus last_name pair, and returns the member's enrollment for the status filter (default Active).
• Set include_detail to true to pull the portal's drill-down in the same call: out-of-pocket totals, PCP history, plan history and plan benefits. That costs 4 extra requests and about 45KB, so batch sweeps leave it off and visit-specific checks turn it on.

Know which provider account you are acting as

• get_profile returns the signed-in provider profile with no parameters, which is the sanity check a scheduler runs before a batch so eligibility answers land under the right TIN.

Who uses this

Revenue cycle startups that already verify commercial payers through the Availity integration add Alignment Health here so a Medicare Advantage panel gets the same pre-visit sweep. Setup notes

Integuru authenticates against ava.alignmenthealth.com with an AVA user that your office's Local Administrator has provisioned; a login that cannot open the eligibility screen in the browser cannot open it through the API either. Dates on this platform are MM/DD/YYYY, unlike most pages in this catalogue. When you have both a member id and a name, send member_id; the name pair is the fallback for referrals that arrive without an id.
