AllTrails API
Integuru generates a production-ready HTTP API for AllTrails, the hiking and trail discovery app, for developers building outdoor planning tools and assistants. 2 verified actions run on your own AllTrails login: search trails inside a map bounding box and list the account's saved trail lists, with further actions available on request.

Don't see the action you need?
The actions above cover the most common AllTrails integration patterns, but they're not the full picture. Integuru can build additional workflows for any capability the platform exposes. Our Managed Service handles scoping, building, and maintaining custom actions on your behalf, so just let us know what you need.

AllTrails integration guide
Does AllTrails have a public API?
No. AllTrails publishes no public developer API: there is no documented REST or GraphQL interface, no developer portal and no self-serve key. The app offers an affiliate programme and a controlled integration with a few AI assistants, and neither gives a developer trail search or account data. Integuru's AllTrails integration provides 2 verified actions over direct HTTP requests, authenticated with your own AllTrails account.

What you can do with the AllTrails API
search_trails takes a viewport, north, south, east and west in decimal degrees, and returns the trails inside that box. The box is the only filter, so an assistant asked for trails near a town geocodes the town, draws a box around the coordinates and passes the four edges. Pagination is applied locally: page is 1-based and page_size defaults to 25, with anything above 100 clamped to 100.
list_saved_lists returns the lists the signed-in account has built. The upstream endpoint has no server-side paging, so Integuru fetches once and slices the result; page and page_size work the same way as on search_trails.
Both actions read. Saving a trail, recording an activity or pulling one trail's reviews are built on request through the Managed Service.
Who uses this
Trip-planning assistants pair search_trails with a campsite search on Hipcamp: the agent finds a site for the weekend, draws a box around it and proposes a hike from the same conversation. Teams building tool-calling agents on the AI agents page treat both actions as read tools that answer in under three seconds without a headless browser. Outdoor apps that let a user connect an AllTrails account call list_saved_lists to import the lists that user already keeps, which is the data most people care about when they switch apps.
Setup notes
Integuru authenticates against www.alltrails.com with the user's own AllTrails credentials. The actions return that account's saved lists and the trail search results any signed-in user would see; nothing is read from other accounts. Coordinates are decimal degrees, and a box with north below south or east below west is rejected before the call is made. If a search returns more trails than one page, walk page rather than widening the box.
Get started
Install the CLI and connect your AllTrails login:
npm install -g integuru
Or sign in at app.integuru.com and add AllTrails. For write actions or a trail-detail action, the Managed Service scopes and builds them against your account. The full list of live platforms is in the integrations catalogue.
Good to know
Before you start
- Can I use it today?
- Yes. Every action listed above has been verified against live AllTrails traffic. Install the CLI or sign in at app.integuru.com, connect your AllTrails account, and start calling the endpoints.
- What if AllTrails changes or breaks?
- On Production plans the Integuru team is on call around the clock, with auth auto-healing included, so target-platform changes get fixed by Integuru rather than by your engineers.
- What does it cost?
- Start on the Free plan at $0/month with 100 API calls/month. Production starts at $499/month with 24/7 on-call maintenance and auth auto-healing.
