7shifts API
Integuru generates a production-ready HTTP API for 7shifts, the restaurant scheduling and labor platform, for teams that want 7shifts in the same login-based workflow as platforms with no API. 1 verified action lists a company's locations with cursor pagination, resolving the company automatically from the session, with further scheduling and timesheet actions available on request.

Don't see the action you need?
The actions above cover the most common 7shifts integration patterns, but they're not the full picture. Integuru can build additional workflows for any capability the platform exposes. Our Managed Service handles scoping, building, and maintaining custom actions on your behalf, so just let us know what you need.

Does 7shifts have a public API?
Yes. 7shifts publishes a self-serve REST API, and any company admin can create an access token from Developer Tools with no approval step. If the official API covers your need, use it. Integuru's 7shifts integration exists for teams running several restaurant platforms through one pipeline: the 1 verified action, list_locations, gives 7shifts the same login-based authentication and response shape as the platforms in that pipeline that have no API.
| | 7shifts developer API | Integuru for 7shifts |
|---|---|---|
| Access | Admin-created access token, no approval step | Your own 7shifts login |
| Covers | Scheduling, labor, sales and employee data over REST | list_locations today; further actions on request |
| Best for | Any 7shifts-only integration | 7shifts as one of several platforms in one workflow |
What you can do with the 7shifts API
list_locations returns the locations for a company. company_id is optional and resolved from the session, limit sets the page size (default 500), and cursor takes the meta.cursor.next value from the previous page. In a multi-platform labor workflow it is the lookup that maps a 7shifts location to the same physical restaurant on the POS and back-office side.
That is a foothold rather than the full surface. Shifts, timesheets and employee actions are built on request, which is how the HotSchedule and Sling by Toast pages reached their current depth.
Who uses this
Labor analytics tools that already pull scheduled and worked hours from HotSchedule, Sling by Toast and SocialSchedules through Integuru add 7shifts here so a group with mixed scheduling systems is covered by one auth model and one on-call maintenance contract. Multi-unit operators use list_locations to build the location crosswalk between 7shifts and their POS before asking for deeper actions. The restaurants industry page covers scheduling, tips and payroll as one workflow.
Setup notes
Integuru authenticates against app.7shifts.com with your 7shifts user. No parameters are required for a first call. For accounts with many locations, page with cursor rather than raising limit past the 500 default.
Get started
Install the CLI and connect your 7shifts login:
npm install -g integuru
Or sign in at app.integuru.com and add 7shifts. To bring shifts, timesheets or employees into the same workflow, the Managed Service scopes and builds those actions against your account.

Good to know
Before you start
- Can I use it today?
- Yes. Every action listed above has been verified against live 7shifts traffic. Install the CLI or sign in at app.integuru.com, connect your 7shifts account, and start calling the endpoints.
- What if 7shifts changes or breaks?
- On Production plans the Integuru team is on call around the clock, with auth auto-healing included, so target-platform changes get fixed by Integuru rather than by your engineers.
- What does it cost?
- Start on the Free plan at $0/month with 100 API calls/month. Production starts at $499/month with 24/7 on-call maintenance and auth auto-healing.
