Does Sawyer have a public API?

Not for parents or third-party apps. Sawyer offers integrations to the businesses that list on it: a schedule embed for the provider's own website, a payments connection and an automation link into accounting, with partnerships arranged by email. Nothing is offered on the family side. Integuru's Sawyer integration provides verified actions over direct HTTP requests, authenticated with your own Sawyer parent account, covering search, providers, reviews and your family's own records.

What you can do with the Sawyer API

Find a class or camp. search_sawyer_activities takes a free-text query such as soccer or piano, child ages in whole years, a booking_type of camp, semester or drop_in, category_ids from list_sawyer_categories, a date_on in YYYY-MM-DD, days_of_week with 0 as Sunday, location_ids, order_by and page. search_sawyer_online_classes takes the same parameters against the online catalogue. suggest_sawyer_search_terms completes a partial query, or returns trending topics when it is empty, and get_sawyer_explore_feed returns the browse carousels. Each result carries an activity_session_group_id that get_sawyer_activity and list_sawyer_related_activities take.

Check the provider. search_sawyer_providers filters by query and category_ids; list_sawyer_provider_directory walks the directory with a name_starts_with prefix. get_sawyer_provider takes the provider_slug from a provider URL, such as creativity-soccer. list_sawyer_provider_activities lists one provider's sessions, narrowed by location_ids and query, and list_sawyer_provider_reviews pages that provider's reviews.

Your family. get_sawyer_account returns the signed-in parent, list_sawyer_profiles the child profiles, list_sawyer_favorites the saved activities, list_sawyer_makeup_credits any credits from missed sessions, list_sawyer_reviews the reviews the account has written or has pending by status, and get_sawyer_notification_preferences the notification settings.

Registering a child is built on request through the Managed Service.

Who uses this

Parent apps that plan the week aggregate this page with ActivityHero so one search covers both marketplaces, and both arrive through one login-based auth model and one maintenance contract. Assistants built on the AI agents pattern take a child's age, two free afternoons and a neighbourhood, call search_sawyer_activities with ages and days_of_week, check list_sawyer_provider_reviews on the top results and answer with a shortlist. Families who already hold makeup credits point a script at list_sawyer_makeup_credits so nothing expires unused.

Setup notes

Integuru authenticates against www.hisawyer.com with the parent's own credentials and returns that account's children, favorites, credits and reviews, plus the catalogue any signed-in parent can search. Run list_sawyer_categories once and cache the ids; they are the only filter values that are not free text. days_of_week is zero-based from Sunday.
