Buyers Edge API

Integuru generates a production-ready HTTP API for Buyers Edge, the foodservice procurement platform whose back office tracks purchasing across a restaurant's vendors, for operators and food-cost tools. 7 verified actions cover the weekly COGS report, invoices by delivery date, orders, inventory over a date range, ingredients, the vendor list with child-restaurant suppliers, and the current user.

Does Buyers Edge have a public API?

Buyers Edge Platform publishes no developer API for the restaurants that use its back office. The product positions itself as the data layer for foodservice procurement, yet the data reaches an operator only through the UI. Integuru generates a production-ready HTTP API for Buyers Edge from your own back-office login, with 7 verified actions covering the weekly COGS report, invoices, orders, inventory, ingredients and vendors.

What you can do with the Buyers Edge API

The back office answers one question each Monday: what did food cost last week, and which invoices and counts produced that number. The seven actions reproduce that trail.

  • get_cogs returns the cost-of-goods report for the financial-calendar week starting at week_date, defaulting to the week that just closed.
  • get_invoices returns invoices by delivery date between startDate and endDate, defaulting to the last 30 days.
  • get_orders returns orders for a location_id, defaulting to the active restaurant.
  • get_inventory returns inventory across start and end, defaulting to roughly six months.
  • get_ingredients returns the ingredient list the COGS calculation depends on.
  • get_vendors returns suppliers, and include_child_restaurant_suppliers widens it to every child restaurant under a master account.
  • get_current_user returns the authenticated user and the active restaurant context.

Who uses this

Group operators on a master Buyers Edge account run get_cogs per location every Monday and drop the numbers into the same sheet as their Restaurant365 P&L. Food-cost platforms compare the invoices Buyers Edge captured with the invoices they pulled straight from the US Foods and Performance Food portals, and flag the deliveries that appear in one but not the other. Procurement analysts pull get_vendors with child suppliers included to see how many distributors a 15-unit group actually buys from. The restaurants industry page covers purchasing, invoice reconciliation and food cost together.

Setup notes

Integuru authenticates against app.bepbackoffice.com with your Buyers Edge user. Every action defaults to the session's active restaurant; pass location_id to target another one. Dates are YYYY-MM-DD. get_cogs uses the restaurant's financial calendar, so week_date should be that calendar's week start rather than a Monday by assumption.

Get started

Install the CLI and connect your Buyers Edge login:

npm install -g integuru

Or sign in at app.integuru.com, add Buyers Edge, and call the same 7 actions from the dashboard. For a report this page does not list, the Managed Service scopes and builds it against your account.

Good to know

Before you start

Can I use it today?
Yes. Every action listed above has been verified against live Buyers Edge traffic. Install the CLI or sign in at app.integuru.com, connect your Buyers Edge account, and start calling the endpoints.
What if Buyers Edge changes or breaks?
On Production plans the Integuru team is on call around the clock, with auth auto-healing included, so target-platform changes get fixed by Integuru rather than by your engineers.
What does it cost?
Start on the Free plan at $0/month with 100 API calls/month. Production starts at $499/month with 24/7 on-call maintenance and auth auto-healing.
