Guide

Restaurant System Pro integration guide

Does Restaurant System Pro have a public API?

Restaurant Systems Pro publishes no API. It is built for independent operators who want to run one restaurant like a chain, with purchase allotments, a scheduling template and a weekly prime cost snapshot, and all of that lives behind the sign-in at secure.restaurantsystemspro.net. Integuru generates a production-ready HTTP API for Restaurant System Pro from your own login, with 15 verified actions across food cost, purchasing, labor, forecasting and master data.

What you can do with the Restaurant System Pro API

The owner-operator this platform serves checks three things weekly: did the kitchen buy within its allotment, did labor stay on budget, and where did prime cost land. The actions return each report by date range.

Food cost and purchasing

  • get_cogs_report, get_usage_report, get_key_item_report and get_purchase_report return their reports for a required start_date and end_date, with type (and filter_state on purchases) selecting the variant.
  • get_invoice_log returns invoices in a range, narrowed by paid_status, invoice_number or check_number.
  • get_dated_purchases returns purchase lines in a range, filtered by product, vendor and type.
  • get_inventory_counts returns counts recorded in a range.

Labor and budget

  • get_labor_allotment returns the labor budget for a range and get_budget_variance returns actual against budget, with section to focus one part of the P&L.
  • get_labor_positions and get_dollar_per_labor_hour work by week_start, the latter filterable by position_ids and sale_category_ids.
  • get_sales_forecast returns the forecast the labor budget was built on.

Master data and alerts

  • get_products filters the product list by brand, category, vendor, status and more, paginated.
  • get_employees returns staff by keyword and status, paginated.
  • get_notifications returns the platform's current alerts.

Who uses this

Bookkeeping firms serving independent restaurants pull get_cogs_report, get_budget_variance and get_invoice_log for every client each Monday instead of logging into each account. Owners who also run a costing tool reconcile get_dated_purchases against the invoices captured in xtraCHEF or MarginEdge. Scheduling tools read get_labor_allotment and get_dollar_per_labor_hour so the schedule they build respects the week's budget, alongside the shift data on the HotSchedule and 7shifts pages. The restaurants industry page covers daily close and food cost together.

Setup notes

Integuru authenticates against secure.restaurantsystemspro.net with your Restaurant Systems Pro user. Most report actions require both start_date and end_date; the two labor actions require week_start instead. Array filters (position_ids, sale_category_ids) are passed as arrays, and get_products and get_employees paginate with page and page_size.

Get started
