Does Vistar have an API for customers?

No. Vistar, the foodservice and vending distributor, trades with suppliers over EDI through third-party EDI providers and gives customers a web portal on the Performance Food Group login. (The developer portal at a similarly named digital advertising company is unrelated.) Integuru generates an HTTP API from your own Vistar customer login so invoices and catalogue pricing can be read from code.

Where does the customer_id value come from?

customer_id is the linked customer UUID that defines which location an invoice call is scoped to. It is required on get_invoices and get_invoice_details. search_products accepts it as optional and auto-detects the customer from the user profile when omitted.

How do I go from an invoice list to line-level detail?

Call get_invoices with customer_id, start_date and end_date (YYYY-MM-DD, end on or after start). Take the invoice_key from a result and pass it with the same customer_id to get_invoice_details. business_unit_erp_key and operation_company_number are optional and must match customer_id if you supply them.

How large can a product search page be?

search_products returns 25 results per page at most. page is zero-based and defaults to 0, page_size defaults to 25 and cannot exceed 25, and query is required.
