Sittercity API
Integuru generates a production-ready HTTP API for Sittercity, the babysitter and nanny marketplace, for family apps and assistants that arrange care. 5 verified actions run on your own parent login: search caregivers by location, time window, rate and experience, read a caregiver's profile and reviews, search kids' adventures, and list your posted jobs.

Sittercity integration guide
Does Sittercity have a public API?
No. Sittercity publishes no public developer API or documentation for its caregiver marketplace. Integuru's Sittercity integration provides 5 verified actions over direct HTTP requests, authenticated with your own Sittercity parent account: caregiver search with the same filters the site offers, caregiver detail with recent reviews, a search of kids' adventures, your posted jobs and your profile.
What you can do with the Sittercity API
A parent needs a Saturday sitter for two children, within ten miles, under a set hourly rate, with a car. search_sitters takes exactly that: a zipcode or a latitude and longitude pair, a start and end in ISO 8601, distance_miles, min_rate_cents and max_rate_cents (so 5000 is 50 dollars an hour), has_car, years_experience, free-text keywords and a care_type that defaults to babysitter. Pages are cursor-based: limit defaults to 20 and caps at 50, and you pass the next_cursor back as cursor. get_sitter_details takes the caregiver's sitter_id uuid and returns the profile with up to 25 recent reviews via review_limit.
search_adventures searches the platform's kids' activities with the same location rules, an ISO 8601 start and end, distance, and filters by adventure_category_id or adventure_category_name and by age_range_id.
viewer_profile returns the signed-in parent, and list_my_jobs pages the jobs that parent has posted, filtered by statuses and care_types (values are uppercased for you).
Posting a job, messaging a caregiver and booking are built on request through the Managed Service.
Who uses this
That Saturday-night search is exactly what a family assistant runs when a parent types the request in plain words: the agent fills search_sitters from the sentence, reads get_sitter_details on the three best matches and hands back a shortlist with reviews before the parent has finished pouring coffee. The AI agents page covers why a direct HTTP tool makes that loop fast enough to feel like a conversation. Apps that search more than one care marketplace run this page beside UrbanSitter so a family sees both pools through one login-based auth model. Parenting apps that plan weekends combine search_adventures with class search on Sawyer and ActivityHero.
Setup notes
Integuru authenticates against www.sittercity.com with the parent's own credentials and returns that account's jobs and profile, plus the caregiver and adventure listings any signed-in parent can search. Send either zipcode or coordinates, never both; rates in cents; times in ISO 8601. Cursors are opaque and per search.
Get started
Install the CLI and connect your Sittercity login:
npm install -g integuru
Or sign in at app.integuru.com and add Sittercity. To add job posting, messaging or booking, the Managed Service scopes and builds those actions against your account. The integrations catalogue lists every live platform.
Good to know
Before you start
- Can I use it today?
- Yes. Every action listed above has been verified against live Sittercity traffic. Install the CLI or sign in at app.integuru.com, connect your Sittercity account, and start calling the endpoints.
- What if Sittercity changes or breaks?
- On Production plans the Integuru team is on call around the clock, with auth auto-healing included, so target-platform changes get fixed by Integuru rather than by your engineers.
- What does it cost?
- Start on the Free plan at $0/month with 100 API calls/month. Production starts at $499/month with 24/7 on-call maintenance and auth auto-healing.
